I went for a photo walk today, and had my first run-in with someone who didn’t want me taking photos. It was very strange. After the fact, I spent the rest of the morning researching photographer’s rights, which state that my taking photos is perfectly within the law. I even checked with photographers, and they all agreed that that person was incorrect. I now keep an email with the rights listed.
I’m excited to go out tomorrow. I have enjoyed the photo walks so far. I won’t go out every single day because that will burn out not only my interest in photography, but also the spots. I want to have plenty of places to see around my neighborhood before exploring other various places in town.
I’m enjoying the ability to get out and wander around and put time into this new hobby. I’m grateful.
